During the Nike Jordan Brand Activation at the National Basketball Association All-Star Weekend, we orchestrated a remarkable engagement strategy on Instagram, gaining a surge of 30,000 new followers, amassing a staggering 547,334 likes, and sparking lively discussions with 3,825 comments.

Our collaboration aimed to magnify the Nike Jordan Brand’s visibility on Instagram, the platform with the most visual impact, fostering interaction with their devoted consumer community throughout the All-Star Weekend. Under the hashtag #TakeFlightNOLA, we directed traffic to their event spaces, inviting attendees to partake in exclusive interactions and experiences with the brand and its products.

Despite setbacks due to injuries preventing the capture of two NBA All-Stars as initially planned, we adapted creatively. Leveraging Nike’s collaboration with 2KSports, we partnered with the NBA2K team to utilize video game content for holographic performances. Coordinating closely, we choreographed and captured “in the game sequences,” subsequently projecting life-sized holograms of the athletes’ avatars on-stage, captivating the audience.

Innovatively, our team integrated personalized RFID technology, enabling tailored experiences for attendees based on the Nike footwear they wore upon entering the Holographic Flight Experience, adding a unique touch to each interaction.

Upon completion of the immersive training session, participants were dynamically transformed into live holograms, joining the NBA All-Stars on stage. These moments were then shared and immortalized on Instagram, showcasing the vibrant fusion of technology, sport, and brand engagement.
