AV Concepts Announces Co-Founder’s Retirement

SAN DIEGO, Calif.— November 2, 2015 —AV Concepts, a leader in creative and technical event solutions, today announced Co-Founder and Vice President Fred Mandrick’s retirement.

“Fred has made a tremendous impact on the company since we founded it together in 1987,” explained Nick Smith, Co-Founder and President of AV Concepts. “He’s been a great partner, a fantastic leader and a highly-technical resource for our clients. But after nearly three decades in the industry, Fred is ready to enjoy some much deserved rest and relaxation.”

Nick bought out Fred’s shares of the company last month and will remain AV Concepts’ President, continuing to oversee day-to-day operations and the overall strategy and direction of the company.
