Summary of Position:
The Senior Account Manager's primary responsibility will be to maintain and grow a portfolio of clients representing more than $2,500,000 in revenue annually through delivering the highest level of client satisfaction and retention possible. The focus of the Senior Account Manager should be on providing high levels of customer service and proactive communication to the client and the internal team as well as driving the overall execution of internal processes. Internal processes will begin with the order approval process and continue through the execution on show-site. Client referrals will also
be an expectation of this role as the Senior Account Manager will be highly visible to clients.
Prerequisites:
A strong understanding of the AV Industry with at least 5 years experience working directly with audio visual equipment in General Sessions and Breakout Rooms for events with at least 1,000 attendees in both the high-end Corporate Event and Convention Services
segments. Proven and consistent success in directly developing positive client relationships and in achieving exceptional client satisfaction and loyalty. Must possess a strong technical working knowledge of equipment that will establish credible and respected leadership of the technical crew. Ability to work as part of a team, understand clients' perspective and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Administrative skills are a high priority and should include professional writing skills, effective use of business tools (i.e. database management, CRM software, etc.), and excellent written and phone communication skills are necessary. Must possess superior customer service skills in order to work well with both internal and external customers. Basic traits and skills should include planning, organization, self-motivation, responsibility, dependability, adaptability, ability to problem solve and communicate effectively in addition to strong negotiating skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively handle stressful situations. Strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to work with diverse groups. Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
